A Car Accident Can Be Painful!

Wednesday Nov 30, 2016

I was in a pretty bad wreck not long ago. No one died, but three cars were completely totaled as a result. My husband was driving, and a car just crossed the median and sideswiped us as well as the car behind us. We were both wearing seat belts, which is what saved all of our lives actually. We were taken to the hospital to be examined, and amazingly there were no broken bones either. I had a killer headache though, and the emergency room doctor told me that I should probably see a chiropractor in Santa Rosa CA for help with that.

He told me that it could go away on its own, but it was still a good idea to go see a chiropractor. He gave me some pain pills and sent my husband and myself on our way. Read the rest of this entry »

Shining a Light on Trouble

Monday Nov 21, 2016

On a whim, I bought a tactical flashlight from an online store because it looked cool. The flashlight came in my favorite color and had a cool design. I didn’t expect much from it, other than acting like a regular flashlight, but it did more than I imagined. The light had one of the brightest lights I’ve ever seen in a flashlight. It was even brighter than the bulb that was in the lamp on my desk. I took the light outside to shine it in the sky, and it looked like one of those superhero symbols from those comic book movies. I instantly fell in love with the flashlight and started carrying it around with me on a daily basis.

The greatest thing about the flashlight isn’t that it can function as a flashlight. Any flashlight can shine light on something. The flashlight really excels at being used as a self defense tool. Read the rest of this entry »

My Husband Had Chronic Pain

Monday Nov 21, 2016

My husband had been suffering with shoulder pain for quite a while. The sad part about that, other than the pain itself, is that there were options available to us that we were not fully aware of. When someone at his work asked him if he had been to a Redding chiropractor for any kind of treatment, they were already expecting his answer of no. It was obvious that he hadn’t to her, because his coworker knew that he probably would not have been at that level of pain still if he had been to a chiropractor for any type of treatment.

She was that confident that a chiropractor would be able to help my husband, and that spoke volumes to us. Read the rest of this entry »

Just Got Back on the Job

Monday Nov 21, 2016

It has taken me about a month and a half to get back to being able to do most of the things that I want to do, although I still have some pain. Right now I am seeing a chiropractor in San Jose about the stiffness in my back. Apparently when I got in this collision some of the vertebra in my back got jolted out of their proper position. It was a really scary event. I was going into work real early that morning, because we had to catch up on some stuff and I had to be some place that night. At any rate I was about a mile or so from work when suddenly this car started to cross the center line. He was coming right at me and I did my best to get out of his way. Of course the other car still side swiped me and there must have been another car riding my bumper. Read the rest of this entry »

Argan Oil Makes Me Look Better

Monday Nov 21, 2016

When I hear about a miracle pill or cream, I usually don’t believe the hype surrounding it. Every now and again though, I will come across something that truly does deliver on what it promises. That was the case when I first heard about argan oil for hair. When my hair stylist recommended that I look into it, I did just that because I trust her opinions when it comes to hair care products. Getting My Sister to Go for a Facelift Procedure Saved Her Life

Sunday Nov 20, 2016

I was considering all my options for a facelift. I liked the idea of the one they call a vampire facelift over the surgical methods. I went to the best dermatologist in Las Vegas to get one. They use your own blood in the procedure. That is how it got its name. They take blood out of your arm, separate it, and then inject it under the skin of your face. They can use fillers too. This fills in crows feet and other areas, and your skin reacts and heals the area. Since it is your blood, there is no worry about an allergic reaction.

I am very glad I went for other reasons too. Read the rest of this entry »
