How Do You Best Manage Your Blood Pressure?

I have been trying to figure this out, but it does not seem that anyone has a lot of fast and firm answers to the questions that I have. It is like they give you a litany of things to do for high blood pressure, in the hope that some path will work. Mostly it seems that they want you to stop doing things you might enjoy and do all of this boring stuff that may or may not do some good. Of course they do not really recommend specific meals for hypertension treatment, but they want you to modify your diet to a great extent . That is what all of this boils down to it seems to me. They do not really know what to do to control your blood pressure, so they tell you to do a lot of these things like your Mother would say. Eat some chicken soup, get your exercise, do not eat junk food.

Of course all of that stuff is a good idea, but there does not seem to be any basis for prescribing any of it to lower your high blood pressure. The literature pretty much says as much. So they tell you to do all of this stuff and it is likely not going to be a bad thing to do it, but there is not a lot of evidence that it is of any of it has any direct impact on the stuff that they are supposedly prescribing this course of action to remedy. Of course the fact that it might make you generally healthier is probably the concept which underpins the idea. Of course that does not mean that it is going to do you any good. They really just do not seem to know what to do.
