The worst thing about trying to lose weight is returning back to where you’ve started. Whenever I try to lose weight, I always make a mistake that negates my progress and sends me right back to the beginning. Food tastes so good, and I get carried away with it and cheat on my diet plans. I know I’m not alone in this, because I’ve seen many people who cheat on their diets and walk right back into the gym, looking like they haven’t done any exercise at all. The new Medifast diet plans that I’ve used have given me a way to get around my set backs.
The foods in the diet plan consist of specially made foods that are nutrient rich and low in fat and calories without sacrificing flavor. The shakes are my favorite, because they can be used as a meal replacement, and they taste so great. I thought I would have to stick to rice cakes and salads for my diet. I never imagined that I would be able to eat things like pancakes. I love to take a double chocolate shake and mix it with a frozen banana, a little honey, and some berries in the blender to make a perfect smoothie.
I can still eat lean meats with my diet plan too. There are a lot of meals you can make with fish and chicken, and you can buy these meats for an affordable price. I’ve really learned how to cook up some creative meals that I normally wouldn’t have using the diet plan. I made an excellent stir fry using chicken and shrimp, broccoli, carrots, beans, and some brown rice. Cooking Asian cuisine isn’t something that I’ve been particularly great at, but now I feel like I could do it all the time. I’m also going to experiment with some Mediterranean meals using the diet plan.
